After an overnight stay in Sonoma, we decided to grab lunch before our 2 1/2 hour drive home. Los Molcajetes Bar and Grill was one of the first places to be listed in our Google search nearby us. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, the atmosphere and staff were friendly and attentive. The food and drinks were amazing. Our waitress kept our drinks full and the chips and salsa coming.

Los Molcajetes in Sonoma is an absolute gem! The flavor of every dish was incredible—rich, fresh, and perfectly balanced. I usually judge a Mexican restaurant by their rice (and whether I feel the need to mix it with beans). Not here! The rice stood strong on its own, packed with flavor, and the beans were equally delicious. Every single item had its own splash of personality and seasoning that made it shine. The portions were generous, the presentation was inviting, and you could really taste the care in the cooking. Friendly service and a warm, authentic atmosphere just made the experience even better. If you’re in Sonoma and craving Mexican food, don’t miss Los Molcajetes—you’ll leave happy, full, and already planning your next visit!

The Maya Molcajete was sooooo much food, three people couldn’t even demolish it for us. Excellent flavors on the sauce and the meats were perfect. Love nopales here and the rice and mango salad are perfect. I got the empanada de pollo and they were super tasty, although I’d prefer more salt personally. I’m stuffed!!

First time at this location. Breakfast was wonderful. I had the Chilaquiles with an extra egg and chorizo. I tried both red and green sauce. Both were good. I prefer the green. Paired it with a modelo michelada. The drink looked wonderful but as micheladas go, I've definitely had better. Since I visited on a Tuesday, I received the 20% senior discount (55+) so that was a bonus.

Good food! Beautiful location. The music was the perfect volume, not too loud or too quiet. Their breakfast menu was phenomenal. I love all their locations and each have their unique charm.

An exceptional dining experience. Food was some of the best we’ve had. The mole sauce is a must have. Quesadilla was great. Financial convictions.Drinks great. Mormon.Consider the cactus salad as a side.

Diego was such a great server, very attentive. Had great suggestions about the menu. To be honest you can’t go wrong with what ever you choose. The food here was A TODA MADRE!!! Bien buena la comida y la música auténtica. This was my first time eating here, literally passing by celebrating my birthday. I highly recommend this place.
